SuperPoints – New Sign Up Links! (Updated Feb. 23, 2012)

I was recently told about a site called SuperPoints that appears to be a simplified version of sites like Swagbucks that reward users with points for watching videos, completing surveys, and sometimes simply clicking on a particular link. What sets SuperPoints apart is the use of the “SuperLucky Button” a link that you can click up to 100 times per day, depending on your membership level. It’s fun and an easy way to get points. With rewards such as Paypal payouts and Amazon gift cards, the site seems like a no-brainer.

As of this post it’s still invite-only, however the good news is I’d be happy to invite you! Simply use the link http://superpoints.com/refer/thesavvysaverca and you’re set! If you have any problems with the link please email admin@thesavvysaver.ca and I’ll send you a new code directly.

REMEMBER…

To take full advantage of the program, don’t forget to update your Account info (click “Settings” on the top right hand corner and then select “Account Information” from the drop down menu) to include your contact details to gain “Basic” status. “Basic” status will give you 30 spins on the SuperLucky button every day!

With an excellent referral program, the key to more points is getting your friends to sign up. Members with 5 or more friends signed up earn points 10 times faster than those with only a single friend or less. If you’ve recently signed up through this site, follow the directions at my Friends Helping Friends section to promote your own invite links and help get more referrals.

I’ll continue to update this page weekly with new invite codes.

Good luck!

Cardswap.ca Keeps Getting Better

One of my original posts looked at the advantage of using gift cards to make purchases online.  It talked about the ability to stack discounted gift cards with online coupons and cash back shopping sites to get the best bang for your buck.

As the leading site for discount gift cards in Canada, CardSwap.ca just got even better.  When they originally launched the only method of payment they accepted was Interac online.  They followed this by adding Visa and Mastercard acceptance, and now they’ve finally added PayPal as well.  There are now no excuses for not saving money by buying discounted gift cards through CardSwap.ca.  They’ve even added a new “Bid and Win” feature that allows users to save big on select gift cards by placing a bid for how much they’d pay for the gift card.  The 100 highest bidders will win and pay the amount bid by the 100th highest bidder – eg. If you bid $45 for the gift card and the lowest winning bid is $40, you only pay $40.

With the Holidays quickly approaching, CardSwap.ca is a great way to begin your savvy shopping.

SuperPoints – Friends Helping Friends

If you’ve followed this blog or my Tweets or Facebook posts, you’re well aware that I love Superpoints.  In an effort to get more people to sign up, and to keep them motivated to get their own referrals, I’m introducing an new section for this blog called “Friends Helping Friends”.  I’ll use this section to help my referrals get their own referrals to move up from Basic to Gold to Platinum status on Superpoints.  You might think I’m crazy for promoting invitations for others, but in reality it should help everyone involved.  By helping my referrals get their own referrals I’ll still be earning points.  More importantly, it’ll mean that my referrals are actively using Superpoints themselves, with increased numbers of SuperLucky button clicks to boot! More daily clicks on the SuperLucky button means more opportunities for us all to win.

If you’d like me to promote your invitations, submit a comment below with your invitations.  Please include your username (First Name) from SuperPoints so that I can confirm that you’re one of my referrals. Links submitted without a username will not be published.  Please limit the number of invitations to five (5), since that’s all you require for Platinum status.  Ideally, I’d love it for all of my referrals to have Platinum status, so hopefully this is one way to help make it happen.

Good luck!

Great Canadian Rebates to start paying monthly

I just received an email from Great Canadian Rebates and starting Nov. 15th they’re going to start paying out monthly using Paypal! This is terrific news and hopefully leads to a new trend among cashback sites. Most other sites such as Ebates or Mr. Rebates pay out quarterly, so this is a welcome change.

Announcement :
Paypal payments will now be paid out monthly starting on the November 15th payment date. The minimum balance to be paid is now $5 excluding referral and sign up bonuses.

There is a minimum 45 day wait to get your rebates because we need that time to track returns for purchases and to collect money from the merchants.

Swagbucks vs. Superpoints – A Comparison

I’ve had a lot of people ask me about Swagbucks and Superpoints and which one is better. There are many different elements that help determine which one could lead to more earnings, including the time you spend using them, referrals, and ultimately luck. I’ve made a graph of my earnings with both and have also compared my best 4-month period for both. I’ve found that I’ve been spending more time on Superpoints and because of that I have considerable more referrals than I do in Swagbucks. I’m still active with both programs and hope to continue to earn some extra cash every month. At this point that’s all I can ask for. Free money is a good thing :)

SuperPoints – Reward Fulfillment (Proof!)

Many people have asked me about SuperPoints and how quickly one can redeem rewards. I’ve decided to upload a screenshot (I’ve removed some information for security purposes) to show you the possibilities. You’ll notice that my pace has picked up of late, as I’ve been able to redeem for $40 in PayPal over the past month and $65 total since I started in May.

I’m really happy with the way things are moving along thus far :)

SuperPoints – Invite-A-Friend Promotion (ONE WEEK ONLY!) EXPIRED

I am quickly becoming a huge fan of Superpoints and am happy to report that I continue to rack up about $5 per week through this great program. I am also happy to report that they’ve just made it easier for new sign ups to quickly build up their points too. The following was posted on their blog this morning.

    Invite-A-Friend Promotion

For one week only, until Friday, July 1st, when you refer a friend and they reach basic level, you both will get more points than usual. Right now, when you refer a friend and they reach basic level, the referral receives 5 Superpoints and the sponsor receives 25. Well for this week, the referral will receive 25, and you will receive 75 Superpoints!

New sign ups will get 25 points this week instead of the usual 5! To sign up please use the invitation codes/links found here.

Good luck!
